CBF Series Explosion-Proof Axial Fan
A wall-type flameproof axial fan for general ventilation in classified areas: flameproof motor, aluminium-blade impeller at a 20° blade angle, 300 to 750 mm blade diameter, 1450 rpm and 2280 to 10320 m³/h of air flow at 380/220 V AC — an improved version of the BAF fan with identical installation dimensions.

Features
- Good explosion-proof performance with a flameproof (Ex d) motor enclosure.
- Impeller blades made of aluminium plate, welded to the steel-plate hub.
- Casing welded from steel plate and section steel for a rigid, corrosion-resistant frame.
- Power leads enter through steel conduit or cable; an earthing screw is fitted on the casing.
- Mounting brackets can be added to meet customers’ requirements.
- CBF is an improved version of the BAF fan — its installation dimensions are identical to BAF, so it can replace BAF units directly.
- Model designation: C B — explosion-proof, other class; F — axial fan; number — blade diameter in mm.
Where it is used
General ventilation of workshops and enhancement of the heat output of heaters in premises containing explosive gas mixtures of Class IIB, temperature class T4 or below, in Zone 1 or Zone 2 areas. Operating conditions: AC 50 Hz, voltage 220/380 V; premises without heavy corrosion or appreciable dust. Typical sectors: petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, machinery and metallurgy plants.
