FBCD Mine Flameproof Extraction-Type Contra-Rotating Axial Fan
A new-generation energy-saving extraction-type local ventilation fan for underground coal mines: compact structure, low noise, high air pressure, large flow and high efficiency. With two-stage contra-rotating impellers it produces the same air volume and pressure as ordinary axial fans with fewer fans or a longer ventilation distance, and it can run as a complete unit or in stages to cut energy consumption.

Product features
The FBCD mine flameproof extraction-type contra-rotating axial local ventilation fan (hereinafter referred to as the extraction-type fan) is the latest generation of energy-saving local ventilation fans developed and manufactured by our company. This series of extraction-type fans features a compact structure, low noise, high air pressure, large air volume and high efficiency. Compared with ordinary axial fans, to produce the same air volume and air pressure the extraction-type fan requires fewer fan units or allows a longer ventilation distance. Its compact structure makes it easy to transport and install during construction work. According to different ventilation requirements it can be used either as a complete unit or in stages, reducing energy consumption and saving energy. Its structural type is: mine flameproof, two-stage contra-rotating impellers, external composite silencing, axial flow.
Scope of application
The fan is suitable for extraction-type local ventilation in underground coal mine environments containing explosive substances (gas and coal dust). It can extract local gas accumulations underground, or work together with dust-removal equipment to remove dust at the working face. With high efficiency and low noise, high air pressure and large air volume, it is ideal equipment for extracting gas and dust in underground coal mines.
Model designation
In the model code F B C D №x / 2×y: F = fan, B = explosion-proof, C = extraction type, D = contra-rotating, №x = size number (impeller diameter in dm), 2 = two motors and y = power of each motor in kW. For example, FBCD No.5.0/2×7.5 is a size No.5.0 fan (Φ500 mm impeller) driven by two 7.5 kW motors.
Structure
The fan consists of an inlet collector, front casing, two flameproof motors with first- and second-stage impellers, a diffuser tube and a duct adapter, as shown below. The two impellers rotate against each other (contra-rotating), so no guide vanes are needed and the airflow leaves the fan without swirl.
