ZBD129 Explosion-Proof Maintenance-Free LED Light
A round maintenance-free explosion-proof LED light for Zone 1 / Zone 2 gas atmospheres and Zone 21 / Zone 22 combustible dust areas. The round ribbed body carries the LED array behind a clear dome, and a U-bracket with slotted holes lets the light be aimed after installation. Rated 20 W to 40 W on an AC 220 V / 50 Hz supply.

Body types and dimensions
Dimensions in millimetres. The sheet draws two body types. The 170 mm width is dimensioned on the first body only, and the two published weights (1.924 kg and 2.32 kg) are not assigned to a body type on the sheet — please confirm both points, and we will update this table.

Features
- Ex db IIC T6 Gb — flameproof enclosure for Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas atmospheres, group IIC at temperature class T6 (85°C maximum surface temperature), the lowest and safest class.
- Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db — dust ignition protection by enclosure for Zone 21 and Zone 22, including conductive dust, with an 80°C maximum surface temperature.
- Maintenance-free LED light — the LED array is sealed inside the body, so there is no routine relamping.
- Round ribbed body with a clear dome below the fixture, for even downward light under platforms and walkways.
- U-bracket with slotted holes — the light can be aimed after installation.
- 20 W to 40 W in one body type, on an AC 220 V / 50 Hz single-phase supply.
- G3/4" cable inlet, matching the glands used on the rest of the range.
- Two body types drawn on the sheet — 168 mm and 242 mm overall height including the bracket.
Applications
Because the ZBD129 carries both gas (Ex db IIC T6 Gb) and dust (Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db) protection, it is used in hazardous areas such as:
- Walkways, platforms and catwalks in refineries and chemical plants
- Pump, compressor and metering skids
- Workshops, maintenance bays and stores inside classified zones
- Loading bays, tank farms and utility areas
- Dust-handling plants such as grain, wood, coal and metal powder processing
