Overview
The BLK series explosion-proof circuit breaker combines protection and switching in one certified enclosure. The composite construction uses a flameproof main chamber with an increased-safety terminal chamber, and high-breaking miniature or moulded-case circuit breakers are operated through the handle on the enclosure cover. It protects circuits and supply equipment against overload and short-circuit faults and also serves as an infrequent motor starter.
Key features
- Housing in die-cast aluminium alloy or welded steel plate with high-pressure electrostatic powder coating, or welded stainless steel with stainless steel exposed fasteners
- Composite construction: flameproof main chamber with increased-safety terminal chamber
- Fitted with high-breaking miniature or moulded-case circuit breakers, operated by the handle on the enclosure cover
- Overload and short-circuit protection; also for infrequent switching of appliances and lighting circuits
- Protects circuits and supply equipment against overload and short-circuit faults; also an infrequent motor starter
- Rigid steel conduit or cable wiring
- Rated voltage (V): AC 220/380
- Rated current (A): ≤200
