BZC Series Explosion-Proof (Anti-Corrosion) Control Station
Explosion-proof and anti-corrosion control stations for hazardous industrial environments. Each station houses push buttons, pilot lights, ammeters, voltmeters and universal changeover switches behind an increased-safety or flameproof enclosure, and is supplied box-mounted, wall-mounted or pole-mounted to match the installation.

Overview
The BZC series control station is a local operator station for motors, valves, pumps and process equipment installed in hazardous gas and combustible dust atmospheres. Housings are formed from glass-fibre reinforced plastic, pressed die-cast aluminium alloy or welded steel plate, finished with a high-pressure electrostatic powder coating; a fully welded stainless steel version with stainless steel exposed fasteners is available for strongly corrosive plants such as coastal, offshore and chemical installations.
The enclosure concept follows the increased-safety or flameproof requirements of IEC 60079, and all switching and indicating components inside are explosion-proof types. Stations are built to order: the number of push buttons, pilot lights and instruments, the entry thread standard and the mounting arrangement are confirmed with our engineers before production. The series complements our wider explosion-proof push button switches range within the explosion-proof electrical apparatus line.
